CTI ports take only 1 ms to reinitialize (ie, to get back to operation after a call is disconnected), but CMT groups will take upto 200 ms to reinitialize. IPCCX will not answer calls if there are no CMT ports available. So make sure you provision 10% more CMT ports than CTI ports.

CCIE Voice Lab Changes

The word from Cisco is that there will be no changes for the Voice CCIE lab anytime soon.  The earliest “changes” will be June/July 2009.  I wasn’t sure if it meant changes will be announced then or changes will be implemented then.  I’ll talk to the speaker (Ben Ng) on the next break to try ...]
