ip default-network vs. ip default-gateway

Every time a come across these commands i wonder what is the difference. Now i have looked it up …
“ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 x.x.x.x” and “ip default-network x.x.x.x” are the same. They are used when “ip routing” is enabled. If not use “ip default-gateway x.x.x.x”.

I was reviewing the DIGG Nation video today - pretty cool stuff in there. Someone that really stuck out though was squarespace - these guys really built a great project correctly.

I managed to acquire a Pix 515E, Cat 2950, Cat3550, 2 x ASAs, VPNC 3015 and an IPS 4215 from work. The Pix and ASAs run 7.22 and the IPS runs 5.1

I was sat at my study desk last night doing my usual thing….. “Oh, I better backup my docs, I’ve not done it in a while” (that’s in my head by the way and not me talking to myself!) –> USB HDD connected –> ‘Start’ – ‘Run’ – ‘SyncToy’ –>

I am almost done with Narbik’s Soup to Nuts workbook and will be moving on to his full lab that was included with the workbook. I am hoping to have that done by next weekend at and then move on again with Internetwork Expert’s Vol II labs. I would like to complete 4-5 of them ...]
